SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) An upper level low pressure storm system will pass to our distant northwest by later today into tonight. As a result, a weak surface cold front will progress southeastward into areas to our southeast as it becomes stationary. By late tomorrow, the front will return back northward as a warm front. During this period, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will occur — even behind the front — as moisture, atmospheric instability and lift persists.

(2) A more  stable and drier weather pattern will return by the latter part of the upcoming weekend into next week.
