AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A dry and stable weather pattern continues as we start the new week. High pressure overhead now will move east of the area by late tonight into tomorrow with a return south southeasterly surface wind expected. Temperatures, with abundant sunshine, will warm to well above seasonal averages Wednesday into Thursday.

(2) A cold front, accompanied by some cloudiness but no rainfall, will move through the area by late Thursday with clearing skies and a little cooler temperatures expected in the wake of the front.

(3) A stronger, reinforcing dry cold front will surge through the area on Saturday afternoon with much cooler – below average – temperatures expected under a mostly clear sky Saturday night into Sunday. Indications are that we’re likely to see a light freeze in most areas Saturday night as well as Sunday night as high pressure settles southward into the area in the wake of the front.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is forecasting no rainfall for the IH35 corridor.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
