SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …
(1) A fairly tranquil weather pattern is continuing with increased low level moisture in place with a layer of early morning low clouds and even a few sprinkles from the morning low clouds.
(2) A cold front is slated to move across our area by tomorrow afternoon. Given a more stable atmosphere in advance of the front, I do not expect any precipitation as the front moves through the area. Cooler and drier air will move into the area for Friday night into Saturday.
(3) After a brief return to a southerly surface wind Sunday, a strong cold front is due to move across the area by daybreak Monday. A more unsettled weather pattern will result in an overrunning weather pattern with clouds and better rain chances as the front passes and the clouds and rain chances continue and much cooler/unseasonably chilly temperatures settle in for the first half of next week.
NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, for the IH35 corridor over the next seven days, suggests 0.25″ to 0.50″ for our area.

TONIGHT…. Partly cloudy. Low 71. Southeasterly wind 4 to 8 mph.
FRIDAY…. Morning low clouds with a few sprinkles otherwise partly cloudy as a cold front passes in the afternoon. A less than 20%chance of morning rain; where rainfall occurs, it will average trace amounts. High 87. Light southerly wind shifting northerly 8 to 15 mph with some higher gusts in the afternoon.
FRIDAY NIGHT…. Partly cloudy and cooler. Low 54. Northerly wind 8 to 15 mph with some higher gusts before midnight.
SATURDAY…. Sunshine. High 77. Northerly wind 5 to 12 mph becoming northeasterly by afternoon.

A 20%chance of rain; rainfall, where it occurs, will average less than 0.10″. High 72 around midday with temperatures falling into the 60s during the afternoon. South southwesterly wind shifting northerly 10 to 20 mph with some higher gusts.
