AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A southerly surface wind continues as evidenced by our morning low clouds and patchy ground fog. As the low clouds dissipate with daytime heating, a stable and much warmer than average (potentially record breaking) weather pattern will continue today.

(2) An upper level low pressure disturbance and a stronger cold front will cross Texas late tonight with isolated rain showers mainly east of the IH35 corridor. In the wake of the front, skies will clear out with much cooler temperatures – back closer to seasonal averages – due after midnight tonight continuing through our weekend.

(3) By late in the day Monday, southerly surface winds will return as surface high pressure moves east of the area. This will result in increased low level moisture and some increased cloud cover along with warmer temperatures for the early into mid part of next week.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting little or no rainfall for our IH35 corridor over the next seven days.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
Very High Confidence
