AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A dry and stable fall weather pattern will prevail through most of today with a clear sky prevailing.

(2) Another strong upper air low pressure disturbance and cold front will cross the IH35 corridor by late tonight into tomorrow resulting in a rapid increase in clouds by very late afternoon into the nighttime hours. Scattered to numerous rain showers and thunderstorms are likely after midnight and continuing through the day tomorrow with an isolated severe thunderstorm threat (main risks being straight line thunderstorm winds.. marginally severe hail.. as well as an isolated tornado).

(3) Drier conditions and a more stable air mass will prevail by late tomorrow night through the weekend and into Halloween and the new week under a clear to partly cloudy sky. Cooler temperatures will prevail the first part of the weekend before a warm up gets underway Sunday into the first part of next week.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance shows 0.50 to 1.00 inch rainfall over the next seven day forecast period.
