SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) A better flow of Gulf of Mexico moisture in combination with daytime heating and a slightly more unstable air mass will result in slightly better rain chances for today into tomorrow. Temperatures will remain well above average.

(2) The atmosphere will stabilize a bit mid into late week as a cold front moves south southeastward across the Red River into north Texas. In advance of the front, I will drop rain chances from the forecast Wednesday into Thursday.

(3) By late Thursday night into Friday, front is expected to wash out as it settles southward into central Texas. Due to proximity of the front, I will introduce slim rain chances Friday and Friday night.

(4) A more stable environment will return with sunshine for the upcoming weekend with temperatures continuing to be well above average.

(5) It’s just beyond the seven day forecast period, but a more significant cold front appears possible for early next week with a better chance of rain and somewhat cooler temperatures.
