AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) With sunshine continuing, we’ll see temperatures warm a bit as south southeasterly surface winds continue into the weekend. Temperatures, on average, are predicted to be at or just above seasonal averages over the next seven days. Low level moisture return has been abundant enough for the return of some patchy morning fog and some late night and early morning clouds through the weekend.

(2) A trough, or line, of upper level low pressure is developing, as expected, over the western USA with the system moving eastward into the plains states by Monday and Tuesday with a cold front forecast moving eastward into Texas and through our local area by Tuesday morning with slim rain chances.

(3) Skies will clear with drier and more stable conditions moving into the area by late Tuesday through the remainder of the new week. Another cold front may move across the IH35 corridor next Friday but I am not expecting much in the way of rainfall.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, for the IH35 corridor over the next seven days, indicates very little, if any, rainfall.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
