SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) Upper level high pressure (the “lid” on the atmosphere) has become more established over the area. As a result, a drier and more stable weather situation is expected through the weekend and into early next week.

(2) Atmospheric models are continuing the thought that a few rain showers and thunderstorms will develop over the area by the middle and latter part of next week as low level moisture increases from the Gulf of Mexico. As a result, I will continue slim rain chances locally beginning next Wednesday.
