SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) A weak surface cold front, in the coastal plains to our southeast, will progress back northward as a warm front today and tonight. During this period, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will occur as moisture, atmospheric instability and lift combines with daytime heating.

(2) A more  stable and drier weather pattern will return by for the weekend into early next week as upper level high pressure, or the “lid” on the atmosphere, strengthens.

(3) Upper level high pressure weakens a bit with a more unstable atmosphere developing by late Monday into Tuesday with rain chances increase once again for the middle and latter part of next week.
