(1) A dry and stable weather pattern, with abundant sunshine, will continue through the weekend and into the early part of next week.

(2) Another round of rain showers and thunderstorms is expected with a slowly moving passing upper air disturbance and surface cold front from the north for the middle into the latter part of next week. Heavier rain is possible along with risk of severe weather across parts of Texas.
