AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) In the wake of cooler surface based air that has moved into the area from the northwest, a series of upper level low pressure disturbances moving overhead over the next 24 will result in daily rain shower and thunderstorm chances over the next 24 hour forecast period. Rainfall could be heavy at times with NWS/Weather Prediction Center guidance suggesting an additional average 1 inch of rain between now and tomorrow night.

(2) A more stable weather pattern will develop tomorrow (Saturday) night into Sunday before rain chances redevelop in a more unstable weather pattern for the early into mid part of next week.

(3) A more stable weather pattern develops again over the area for the latter part of next week with rain chances dropping from the forecast.
