AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) The chance of light overrunning precipitation continues as upper air disturbances pass overhead west-to-east on top of the shallow wedge of much colder surface air. Although precipitation chances are down for today into  tonight, the rain chances will increase again late tonight through tomorrow into tomorrow night.

(2) As temperatures remain well below seasonal averages with the clouds and precipitation through tomorrow, clouds will break early Sunday with a dry and sunny
end to the weekend into the first part of next week. Expect warmer temperatures as the sunshine reappears.

(3) With warmer temperatures and a return to a southerly surface wind flow, enough low level moisture will return for increased cloud cover by next Tuesday through the middle into latter part of next week.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance is predicting 0.25 inch or less of  precipitation over the next seven days.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
A high confidence forecast through the 7 day forecast period.
