AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) With the surface high overhead now moving east of the area by tomorrow into the weekend, southerly surface winds return, temperatures will warm once again to above seasonal averages by the weekend into early next week with abundant sunshine.

(2) Enough low level moisture will be in place and combine with instability and an approaching upper air disturbance from the west to produce scattered rain showers and thunderstorms by Tuesday and continuing through the middle part of next week. While I will increase rain chances just a bit, I will be a bit more conservative in my rain chances until there is a little more consistency in the atmospheric model guidance.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is predicting 0.25 to 0.50 inch of rainfall.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High to very high confidence through Tuesday.
