AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) I expect sunshine in general over the next couple of days with near average temperatures for today ahead of a dry, but stronger, cold front that will move southeastward through the area shortly. Expect gusty northwesterly wind in the wake of the front. After today, temperatures will be falling back to seasonal averages late week into the weekend.

(2) An approaching upper air low pressure disturbance will trigger the development of a slow moving surface low along the Texas coast late Monday into Wednesday with clouds and rain chances returning to our area.

(3) clouds and rain chances will finally move east of our area by late Wednesday into Thursday.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is forecasting around 1.00″ for the IH35 corridor.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High to Very High Confidence through Monday Night..
Medium Confidence Tuesday into Wednesday..
