AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) A dry and stable weather pattern prevails as we start the new week with abundant sunshine prevailing.

(2) A passing upper air low pressure disturbance and associated surface cold front will pass overhead Wednesday morning with clouds picking up in advance of the system on Tuesday night. As the system passes overhead, we’ll see scattered rain showers as the atmospheric lift peaks Wednesday morning.

(3) Clouds break again as the mid week system passes with abundant sunshine expected late week into the early weekend as a dry cold front passes through the area on Friday.

(4) A second, potentially stronger, upper air low pressure will move through Texas by late Saturday night into Sunday with increased clouds and precipitation changes along with cooler than average temperatures expected.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is forecasting 0.50″ to 0.75″ for the IH35 corridor.
