AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) Skies are clearing in the wake of the Sunday winter storm system. I expect sunshine over the next few days with below average temperatures with a pretty good warmup for Wednesday into Thursday with temperatures back above seasonal averages.

(2) A dry, but stronger, cold front will move southward through the area by Thursday evening with temperatures falling back to seasonal averages late week into the weekend.

(3) Another upper level low pressure disturbance and associated surface cold front will move southeastward across the area Sunday into Monday with slim rain chances expected.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is forecasting only trace (non-measurable) precipitation amounts for the IH35 corridor.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
Very High Confidence through Saturday..
Low to Medium Confidence Sunday..
