SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) Our upper level low pressure area and surface cold front is completing its move through the area on this Wednesday. Our rain chances will continue into the afternoon and evening before clouds decrease after midnight.

(2) A drier and a little cooler weather pattern returns by later tonight into tomorrow and continuing through the end of the week into the weekend.

(3) Our next weather system, with increased clouds and the return of rain chances, will approach the area by late Sunday into the first half of next week.

TODAY…. Mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers through early afternoon with rain chances slowly decreasing by mid and late afternoon. A 40% chance of rain this morning decreasing to 30% this afternoon; where rainfall occurs, it will average an additional .10″ or less. High 64. North northwesterly wind 8 to 18 mph with some higher gusts.

TONIGHT…. Mostly cloudy with a few sprinkles possible through midnight. A 30% chance of rain before midnight; where additional rainfall occurs, it will average trace amounts. Decreasing clouds after midnight then turning partly cloudy. Cooler. Low 48. North northwesterly wind 8 to 18 mph with some higher gusts.
