AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES
AND MY 7 DAY FORECAST CONFIDENCE …

(1) As the second in a series of slow moving upper air disturbance continues to approach from the west, an unsettled weather pattern continues. Low level moisture is combining with atmospheric instability and the approaching atmospheric lift to increase the likelihood of rain showers and thunderstorms continuing through the remainder of the week and into the weekend.

(2) With the passage of the upper air disturbance, a surface cold front, rather weak in nature, will pass southeastward through the area by Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening. Drier and slightly cooler air will advance into the area with sunshine and pleasant early fall weather for Sunday and through most of next week.

NWS/Weather Prediction Center rainfall guidance, over the next seven days, is predicting 0.25 to 0.50 inch of rainfall.

MY FORECAST CONFIDENCE OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS…
High to Very High confidence through Thursday.
