…. An Upper Level Low Pressure Disturbance Moving Out of Texas ….
…. A Stable and Drier Air Mass is Developing in the Wake of the Disturbance ….

On this Tuesday… surface high pressure is situated to our northwest over the plains of New Mexico and west Texas. As a result, a northerly surface wind is blowing across our area.

In the upper levels of the atmosphere, the upper level low pressure area is moving eastward out of Texas. As a result of the upper air wind flow, the upper level winds are moderate northwesterly over our area.

The upper level low pressure disturbance is moving eastward out of Texas.

In the wake of the upper air low pressure storm system, skies will partially clear tonight with a more stable air mass becoming reestablished overhead once again. This weather pattern.. with no change in air masses.. is expected to continue over much of the seven day forecast period.

For Austin and south central Texas… tonight will be partly cloudy. Lows in the 60s. Northerly wind. For tomorrow, mostly sunny. Highs in the 80s with a northeasterly wind.
