(1) A mostly stable weather pattern continues with temperatures near to a bit above seasonal averages, as a south southeasterly surface wind flow prevails. Even though low level moisture has increased with a few more clouds present, I believe precipitation chances remain elusive and I am not including precipitation in my forecast over the next seven days until my confidence increases. I will, however, watch today into tomorrow when rain chances appear to have increased a tad, especially in areas south through southwest of Austin, in the latest sets of atmospheric model guidance.

(2) Even though I’m not convinced yet, I will be watching Sunday /Father’s Day/ into Monday and middle and latter part of next week for the potential mention of rain chances in my later forecasts if I see a little more continuity in the latest longer range computer guidance.
