(1) A stable summer weather pattern continues through Sunday into Monday with plenty of sunshine and south southeasterly surface wind prevailing over the area.
(2) As an unseasonably broad and deep trough of low pressure deepens over the eastern half of the USA by the early part of next week, the air mass overhead will become more unstable as a cold front moves into Texas resulting in a better chance of precipitation by Monday night and Tuesday and continuing through the balance of the week.
