AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…
(1) A series of upper level low pressure disturbances and an associated weak cold front will cross the area beginning tonight through tomorrow (Saturday) before moving east of the area by late Sunday. Some severe thunderstorms, with an attendant large hail and damaging thunderstorm wind risk.. will be present late tonight into tomorrow. In addition, there will be the possibility of one to two inches of rain over south central Texas…
(2) A drier and more stable weather pattern will prevail early into mid parts of next week with abundant sunshine and warming temperatures…
(3) Another weak cold front will cross the area by late next Wednesday into early Thursday but rain chances look to be very slim; as a result of it being seven days out and my fairly low forecast confidence, I am not including any rain chances in my forecast for that time period…
