…. A Stable and Drier Air Mass Expected over the Coming Days ….
…. Warmer Afternoon Temperatures with the Increased Sunshine ….
On this Wednesday… surface high pressure is located over the central plains states. As a result, a light easterly surface wind is blowing across our area.
In the upper levels of the atmosphere, the upper level low pressure area.. that moved across our area in the last few days.. is moving eastward through the southeastern USA as a ridge of upper air high pressure builds into Texas from the west. As a result of the upper air wind flow, the upper level winds are moderate northwesterly over our area.
In the wake of the upper air low pressure storm system, a drier and more stable weather pattern continues across the area. Skies will continue to be clear to partly cloudy. This weather pattern.. with no change in air masses.. is expected to continue over much of the seven day forecast period.
For Austin and south central Texas… tonight will be mostly clear. Lows in the 60s. Light easterly wind. For tomorrow, mostly sunny. Highs in the 80s with a westerly wind.
Have a good Wednesday night and Thursday…
