AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS
WEATHER HAZARDS THROUGH 12 MIDNIGHT TONIGHT…

.. A Lightning Risk with and Thunderstorms Today into Tonight ..

AUSTIN / UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS WEATHER
SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

.. Widely Scattered Showers and Thunderstorms ..
.. Summer Heat Continues ..

(1) Temperatures will be a bit above seasonal averages, as a south southeasterly surface wind flow prevails across the area as the atmosphere turns a bit more unstable. Widely scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are possible today into tonight and again on Sunday.

(2) Even though I’m not convinced yet, I will be watching the latter part of next week for potential rain chances. Although there are signals of an overall weather pattern change, the computer models are not at all consistent so I will hold off on the rain chance mention for now but it is something we need to watch.
