SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) Mostly clear skies will prevail today into the upcoming weekend with temperatures above seasonal averages (even with a weak wind shift back to the northwest later today).

(2) Increased clouds, associated with a northeastward moving warm front, looks to the area Sunday before yet another cold front sweeps southeastward through the area early Monday with the slim chance of some rain and rain showers as the cooler air moves in.

(3) Clearing skies and cooler temperatures will prevail Tuesday and through the middle part of next week.

TODAY…. Sunshine and warmer. High 74. South southwesterly wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west northwesterly in the afternoon.

TONIGHT…. Mostly clear. Low 44. Northwesterly wind 4 to 8 mph. 

SATURDAY…. Sunshine. High 73. North northwesterly wind 4 to 8 mph becoming east southeasterly in the afternoon.

SATURDAY NIGHT…. Clear. Low 50. Light south southeasterly wind.

SUNDAY…. Mostly sunny. High 77. Southerly wind 5 to 12 mph.

SUNDAY NIGHT…. Increasing clouds becoming partly to mostly cloudy with isolated rain showers after midnight. Rainfall, where it occurs, given a 20%chance of rain, will average less than 0.05″. Low 57. Southerly wind 5 to 10 mph.

MONDAY…. Mostly cloudy early with a few morning rain showers as a cold front passes. Rain chances decreasing by 10am. Becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. Cooler. Rainfall, where it occurs, given a 20% chance of rain, will average less than 0.05″. High 66. West southwesterly wind shifting north northwesterly 8 to 15 mph with some higher gusts by mid to late morning.
