SEVEN DAY WEATHER HEADLINES…

(1) Plenty of sunshine is expected through today.

(2) By tomorrow afternoon into Friday, a strong cold front will move through the area once again with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms ahead of, along and even behind the front. Behind the front, I expect unseasonably chilly weather as get into the weekend. Upwards of 1 to 2 inches of rain can be expected, on average, as this weather system passes.

(3) Plenty of sunshine is expected Saturday and Sunday into early next week as temperatures slowly warm ahead of another cold front late Tuesday into Wednesday.

THURSDAY NIGHT…. Cloudy and turning breezy and cooler with rain showers and thunderstorms likely with an associated lightning threat as a cold front passes after 7pm. Where rainfall occurs, given a 80% chance of rain, it will average .50″ to 1.00″. Turning cooler. Low 50. South southwesterly wind shifting northerly 8 to 18 mph.
