.. A Warming Trend Underway ..
.. Another Cold Front With A Chance of Rain Late Sunday into Sunday Night ..

On the Weather Map…
On the surface map… a surface high pressure area is located over eastern Missouri and western Illinois. A trough, or line, of low pressure is slowly deepening from eastern Colorado southward into west Texas and eastern New Mexico. As a result of this surface weather pattern, our surface winds across south central Texas are light.

On the upper air map… upper level high pressure stretches from Texas across the southeastern USA. A trough, or line, of upper air low pressure stretches south southwestward from west of Hudson Bay south southwesterly across the Pacific Northwest. As a result of this upper air weather pattern, the 30,000 foot winds over our area are southerly about 20 mph.

What I am Seeing As I Look Ahead…

A few clouds reappear with warmer temperatures – with temperatures back to slightly above seasonal averages – through the rest of the week through the weekend.

Another cold front is expected to pass across the IH35 corridor late Sunday into early Sunday night with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms possible.

I expect partial clearing with cooler and less humid conditions for Monday into Tuesday.

Have a good Thursday….
